About Journey Foursquare Church
We are a local Christian church belonging to a larger movement known as the Foursquare denomination. Our beliefs, in faith and practice, align to the doctrines as held by the Foursquare denomination. As a Foursquare church, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King. We stand firm on the foundation set by Hebrews 13:8, which proclaims: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

EQUIP. Equip people with biblical truth.
2 Timothy 3:16-17- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
EMPOWER. Empower believers for effective Kingdom service.
1 Corinthians 12:4, 7- There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
1 Peter 4:10- Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

What to Expect at Journey
Friendly people from all walks of life. We all have different backgrounds and experiences. We are young and old, married and single, victorious and struggling, healed and hurting. Come just as you and you’ll fit right in.
Solid practical Bible teaching and from-the-heart worship. Our pastors teach the truth of God’s Word, without compromise, but in a way that is relevant and down-to-earth. Worship is not a performance but instead an opportunity for you to be in the Presence of God so that you can worship Him with us.
Safe, fun, and inspiring ministry for your children and youth. We love families and we believe that your kids should want to come to church. Our children’s and youth leaders and volunteers all go through training (and background checks) so that you can know they are being loved and taught in a safe environment.
Opportunities to connect and serve. We have lots of ways that you can grow in your faith and in relationship with others. From midweek Bible Studies and services, to ministries like our Hospitality team or Greeters team, you will find a place to fit in.
Giving as Worship at Journey
There are many ways to give at Journey Foursquare Church. You can give of your time, your talents, and your treasure. As a growing church in the High Desert, we encourage and are grateful for those who volunteer in our various ministries and services.
